According to Wallstreetcn, Qwen Office released the Qwen3.8-Flash model and introduced a standard mode, enabling access to the new version through the standard option.

The update is described as delivering lower point consumption and faster token throughput on the latest model.

Qwen Office said its product lineup will be limited to standard and premium modes going forward, with 95% of daily tasks handled by the standard mode and only 5% of complex tasks requiring the premium mode.
