Security firm SlowMist has identified two actors replicating a Notional Finance exploit pattern on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC).

Analysts at ChainCatcher say the attackers have completed initial preparations and opened malicious fCash positions using the same vulnerability pattern.

The operation has not yet been fully executed, and the compromised positions are waiting to mature. Once they expire, the attackers may settle the positions and withdraw assets from the protocol.

SlowMist urged affected projects to implement mitigations before the positions expire.
