Canada Objects to Implementation Terms in Proposed U.S. Trade Deal, Says USTR
Sina Finance reports that U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer said Canada has objected to how certain proposed terms would be implemented in the planned U.S.–Canada trade agreement.
In a media interview, Greer outlined aspects of the proposed deal and addressed Canada’s retaliatory measures, stating, "This will not bring us any economic disaster."
