China Imposes Temporary Anti-Dumping Deposits on Japanese Dichlorodimethylsilane
China's Ministry of Commerce said it has made a preliminary determination that imports of dichlorodimethylsilane from Japan are dumped, harming the domestic industry, with a clear link established between the dumping and the injury.
Temporary anti-dumping measures will be applied in the form of deposits from September 8, 2026, at a maximum rate of 99.2%.
Importers of Japanese dichlorodimethylsilane must post deposits with Chinese customs based on the rates in the preliminary ruling. Shin-Etsu Chemical Co. and other Japanese companies face a 99.2% deposit, while Denal Silane Co. is assigned an 80.8% rate.
