China National Gold H1 Revenue Drops 19.93% to 24.9 Billion Yuan; Net Profit Down 12.35%
China National Gold reported on August 30 that its first-half revenue declined 19.93% year over year to 24.9 billion yuan, according to Jiemian News.
Net profit attributable to shareholders dropped 12.35% to 279 million yuan, and basic earnings per share were 0.17 yuan.
The company proposed a cash dividend of 0.92 yuan for every 10 shares, including tax.
Management attributed the weaker results to lower sales of gold products, changes in operating costs and expenses, higher inventory levels, and a decline in operating payables.
