Fed to Review Fixed-Dollar Asset Thresholds Later This Year, Bowman Says
Federal Reserve Vice Chair for Supervision Michelle Bowman signaled plans to revise the rules governing fixed-dollar asset thresholds later this year to better reflect inflation and economic expansion, according to Bloomberg.
In remarks delivered to a conference on community banking research, Bowman said the adjustment would maintain the policy objective established when the threshold was first set.
