ICBC (01398) rose more than 1% to an intraday high of HK$7.67, a record intraday level since listing, with turnover of 87.49 million shares worth HK$664 million, according to ETNet.

The stock was last up 1.32% at HK$7.67, extending a second straight session of gains and bringing the two-day advance to 3%.

The Hang Seng Index fell 241 points, or 0.9%, to 25,325, while the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index dropped 45 points, or 0.5%, to 8,467.
