Illycaffè chief executive Cristina Scocchia said an initial public offering remains a strategic option for the coffee roaster, but the current environment is not conducive to a listing.

Speaking on Bloomberg Television, Scocchia said the company will re-evaluate all options, including an IPO, and will decide if, when and where to list once market conditions improve.
