Lanvin Revenue Drops 17.9% in H1 as Direct Stores Fall to 13
Lanvin, the brand run by China’s Lanvin Group, posted first-half 2026 revenue of €22.92 million, down 17.9% from a year earlier. The global total of directly operated stores declined to 13, and gross margin rose 3.8 percentage points to 58.2%. The contribution margin narrowed to -27.3% from -44.1%.
Jiemian News notes that Lanvin has been in decline for several years after a brief rebound in 2021 and 2022, when revenue advanced by 108% and 64% respectively and surpassed €100 million in 2022. The report also says Lanvin Group appointed Peter Copping as artistic director in June 2024, with his initial and subsequent collections revisiting the brand’s archive and classic aesthetics.
For the second half, Lanvin Group’s priorities include increasing store traffic, improving conversion and sell-through, and boosting inventory efficiency, while pursuing selective partnerships and an asset-light expansion rather than a broad direct-store rollout.
In mainland China, Lanvin now operates only its Shanghai BFC Asia flagship store, according to Jiemian News.
