Lithium-related shares moved lower on Tuesday, with CATL (03750) down 3.9% to HK$569, Ganfeng Lithium (01772) falling 6.1% to HK$38.02 and Tianqi Lithium (09696) down 4% to HK$36.06, according to ETNet.

The main carbon lithium futures contract declined for a second consecutive session, slipping 3.54% to RMB 154,300 after an intraday drop of up to 4%.

The Hang Seng Index was at 25,076, down 253 points or 1%, with main-board turnover surpassing HK$114.7 billion.

The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index declined 1.1% to 8,368, while the Hang Seng Tech Index dropped 1.5% to 4,482.
