Malaysia PM's adviser says fuel supply expected to be adequate this year

Author

The economic adviser to Malaysia's prime minister said the government is confident it will secure enough fuel supplies through year-end, as reported by Sina Finance.

He told local media on Friday that upside risks to fuel prices persist due to geopolitical tensions and disruptions to key shipping routes.

With energy demand rising, the administration could accelerate spending on major infrastructure programs, including water supply and power generation.
