Ping An Digital Bank (International) announced that Yip Tik-Kei will assume the chairmanship, while Lau Yui-cheung will serve as an adviser to the chief executive officer.

Lau has led the bank as chair since November 2021 and is slated to step down on October 1, 2026. After his departure, he will advise the CEO and continue supporting the bank’s development.

Yip is scheduled to take over as chairman on October 1, 2026. He has been chairman and an independent non-executive director of Lufax since April 2025 and previously led Ping An Digital Bank from August 2019 to November 2021.

His career also includes senior roles at HSBC China, DBS Bank in Hong Kong and in China, Ping An Insurance Group, the former Ping An Bank, and Bank of Communications.
