Robinhood CEO: Tokenization Expands Access to U.S. Markets for Global Investors
Robinhood chief Vlad Tenev said on X that tokenization is expanding access to high-quality U.S. financial assets for investors worldwide, according to a report by Odaily.
He described the tokenization space as still small relative to global markets but noted clear advantages such as around-the-clock trading, programmable assets, modularity, and self-custody options.
Tenev argued that traditional market infrastructure relies on fixed trading hours, closed networks, and layered intermediaries, which he believes no longer meet investor demand.
He added that founders, liquidity providers, traders, and infrastructure teams are driving the tokenization push forward, but it will take time for the conventional financial system to fully adopt the model.
