Solana Transaction V1 (SIMD-0385) Goes Live on Mainnet
Anza, the Solana client development team, announced on X that Transaction V1, also known as SIMD-0385, is live on the mainnet.
The upgrade increases the maximum transaction size from 1,232 bytes to 4,096 bytes, enabling ZK proofs, large multisignature transactions, BLS signatures, and confidential transfers that previously required multiple transactions to complete in a single atomic operation.
It also moves resource usage parameters, including compute unit limits, priority fees, loaded account data size, and heap size, into the transaction header instead of submitting them through compute budget instructions.
ChainCatcher reports these changes are part of the SIMD-0385 release.
