Stargate has announced that its V1 liquidity pools will cease operations when LayerZero Labs’ V1 relayer is retired on December 15. The update confirms that Stargate V2 and Stargate Hydra are not impacted by the shutdown.

To ease the transition, the protocol will offer zero-fee withdrawals for all users during the period surrounding the closure.

The V1 messaging service will be paused for roughly two weeks, after which V1 pool withdrawals will resume and remain available up to the relayer’s final shutdown on December 15.

Users with outstanding LP positions in Stargate V1 are advised to remove their positions before the deadline.
