According to Sina Finance, U.S. officials indicate the Pentagon told U.S. Central Command to ready for a potential restart of large-scale military operations in Iran. The directive did not specify a launch date, and President Donald Trump has not reached a final decision.

U.S. and Israeli sources said the strike could be considered before the U.S. midterm elections, and possibly before Israel's election, which is about a week earlier.
