Vance Calls El-Sayed 'Very Evil' Over Remarks About Second Lady in Michigan Race

Author

According to the BBC, U.S. Vice-President JD Vance used harsh language toward Abdul El-Sayed at a rally and told him to stop mentioning his wife after El-Sayed's comments about Second Lady Usha Vance, who is Hindu.

El-Sayed later accused the Trump administration of pursuing policies he described as harmful, including reducing healthcare access for working people, raising costs for groceries and gasoline, and taking a harder line on trade and security.

The Michigan race between El-Sayed and Mike Rogers, a Trump ally, is among the most closely watched ahead of the midterm elections, with an Epic-MRA survey released earlier this week showing El-Sayed ahead by four points.
