Fairshake Aids Roughly 50 Candidates as Primaries Near Their End

Author

Crypto-focused political action committee Fairshake has assisted roughly 50 candidates in securing nominations as the U.S. primary cycle heads toward its conclusion.

The roster includes Democratic Representative Jake Auchincloss of Massachusetts, along with Republican contenders Barry Moore of Alabama, Andy Barr of Kentucky, Kevin Hern of Oklahoma, and Harriet Hageman of Wyoming.

According to ChainCatcher, the prediction markets Polymarket and Kalshi assign these candidates generally a greater than 94% likelihood of winning in November.

Fairshake spokesperson Geoff Vetter said the group has earmarked $122 million for the fall election.

ChainCatcher also notes a setback in Illinois, where Fairshake spent more than $10 million attempting to block Democrat Juliana Stratton from securing the nomination.

Separately, Fellowship PAC, backed by Cantor Fitzgerald and Anchorage Digital, has spent about $11 million, far below its previously stated $100 million target. The Digital Freedom Fund, financed with $21 million by the Winklevoss brothers, has not yet backed any specific candidates.

New York Fed President Williams: Strong Economy Behind Higher Treasury Yields

Author

In remarks reported by CNBC, New York Fed President John Williams attributed the recent jump in Treasury yields to a robust economy rather than market dysfunction. In a CNBC Squawk Box interview, he said he is still reviewing incoming data and did not indicate whether another rate increase would be appropriate.

Williams said the move in the Treasury market is driven largely by the solid economy and its outlook, supported by sizable investment in AI, data centers, and technology.

He added that inflation expectations remain well anchored despite this year's rise in prices tied to tariffs and the Iran War.
